Configure efficient SMT production line? Don't ignore these three points!

The main equipment of the general SMT production line includes solder paste printing machine, pick and place machine, reflow oven, AOI automatic optical inspection instrument. When establishing an SMT production line, it is necessary to formulate a reasonable introduction plan based on factors such as the investment capacity of the enterprise, the size of the output, and the mounting accuracy requirements of the circuit board. 1.According to the type of product, output, and recent development plan

Clarify the electronic products processed on the patch production line, product types, product complexity, product components, and total annual output;

Clarify the need to establish a new patch production line, or to rebuild and expand the old patch production line;

In case of reconstruction or expansion, consider the extensibility of the production line according to the existing production status and future production planning.

If a new production line is needed, the scale of the mounting production line should be specified according to the plan, so as to calculate the specific pick and place machine needed.

2.According to the assembly density of electronic products, the type and quantity of mounted components

When the patch production line is to produce high-density, multi-pin, narrow-pitch and large-sized SMD devices and special-shaped components, a multi-functional pick and place machine is required;

If the mounting task is large, after configuring a multi-function pick and place machine, a medium-speed pick and place machine or a high-speed pick and place machine can also be configured.

3.According to the process of the product

If the products on the SMT production line are relatively simple, or when using pure surface assembly and single-sided mixed assembly process, you can choose a soldering equipment (reflow soldering oven or wave soldering machine);

If the product is more complicated, the assembly density is higher, and there are more plug-in components in the double-sided mixed form, two welding equipment, reflow oven and wave soldering machine, should be selected;

If the product needs to be cleaned, cleaning equipment must also be configured.
